Industrial Instrumentation Ltd acquired by Entec

Entec announces acquisition of Industrial Instrumentation Ltd, substantially expanding Entec’s instrumentation & electrical business in upper North Island.

Industrial Instrumentation Ltd (IIL) is a 20-year-old business with a strong client base in the food and beverage, manufacturing, chemical and dairy industry sectors.

Industrial Instrumentation has an excellent niche in the design and manufacture of a wide range of temperature probes, including the ability to manufacture one-off bespoke designs.

IIL also has an IANZ accredited calibration laboratory, and recently built a flow calibration rig to provide calibration of flowmeters of up to 4″ in size.

Industrial Instrumentation Ltd provides routine service and calibration of industrial instrumentation and electrical systems, sells instrumentation products, manufactures control panels and undertakes instrumentation & electrical projects.

Its technical staff is made up of dual trade instrumentation & electrical technicians, electricians who are training in instrumentation, and apprentices.

IIL has 12 staff including company founder and owner Tony Brill. All staff are joining Entec under this acquisition.

Industrial Instrumentation Ltd currently operates out of bases in Auckland and the Waikato.

Entec is integrating the IIL operation into Entec’s services division. It will work closely with Entec’s existing instrumentation & electrical service, rotating equipment service, instrumentation & electrical projects, and gas detection operations nationwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for Entec to expand its client base and the number of sectors in which we work, and to establish a much bigger footprint in the upper half of the North Island.
